Islam and Religious Freedom
| There is no compulsion in Islam. Meaning no one can ever force anyone to convert or even preach to them, they must come of their own free will at their pace if they ever choose to at all. Certainly they can leave anytime as well. |
Islam and Thinking
| Islam is the most Western of religions. Every major University in the world includes Islam in their "Western" studies as Islam is an Abrahamic faith. Islam is all about logic and reasoning [and the seeking of knowledge, along with the respecting of all thoughtful opinions]. The phrase "for those who think" is repeated in the Qur'an over and over again. The Qur'an is credited by many to have originated the Renaissance and gotten Europe out of the Dark Ages. |
The Spread of Islam—and Why People Were Attracted to Islam
| Islam spread by trade [through the ethics and righteousness of the Muslims]. Islam went from one man, the Prophet Mohamed, to spreading all over the Middle East in less than 100 years. This was accomplished via trade. The Muslims laws of barter were so fair and just that people loved to trade with Muslims as they always got a fair deal. This left such good impressions with people that many naturally became curious about Islam and followed the good examples of [the Muslims]. |

“Sharia” is About Economic Law
|
Sharia Law is Arabic for "God's Law,"
[i.e. a
peoples or nation "Under God"]. It is a system of
economic, political and moral rules [similar to Christianity*] derived from the Quran. We
have been taught to think that Sharia law is all about backwards
moral rules but Sharia law is mostly economic laws. As we
see below, issues on dress
are optional such as dressing over excessively and the punishment for
breaking moral laws often revolves on protecting the
reputation of women wrongly accused. The vast majority of Sharia's moral laws revolve around
shirk, which is idolatry. Economic Sharia makes up about 95% of Sharia law according to Islamic scholars like Imran Hosein. It is similar to the Catholic churches ban on usury. In Islam, usury called "Riba" and is considered among the very worst sins, second only to "Shirk" which is idolatry or [substituting] other deities for the One Universal God of All. [Also, check out the 1913 creation of the Federal Reserve in America that exists on enforced interest or usury, i.e. INCOME TAXES on people's labors and livelihood. This is of course an anti-God creation and does not belong in a nation "Under God."] Economic Sharia law is responsible for Islamic banking which has proved to be a huge success in Iran. The western banking cartel feels very threatened by Islamic banking and is thus taking every opportunity to demonize Sharia law by associating it with beheadings and female mutilation and all manner of other things which is completely anti-Sharia. [*Islam is both the continuation and completion of the Semitic Religions.] |

| Islam is pro women's rights. Islam gave women the right to own property and manage their own affairs. In Islam it is forbidden for a man to make his wife take his last name. The law for accusing a woman of infidelity falsely is 80 lashes. Female prime ministers have been elected in four Muslim countries. |

Islam and the Right to Self Defense

The Quran's most violent quote is "If you are attacked by the
enemy then you are permitted to kill" [in defense of life, limb,
family and property], but do
not attack them first," i.e. do not be the aggressor. At the same time, if
"they stop attacking then you must
also cease to attack and make peace."
[Further, prolonged tyranny cannot also be tolerated over the natural, moral order of the above freedom and rights—endowed to Man by God as stated in the American Declaration of Independence.] Islam also forbids attacking women and children [and is, as the Prophet of Islam stated, both protector and one with Christianity]. Only the attackers are fought in self defense. The Prophet and his followers [peace be upon them] stuck to this to the shock of the world around them and still won. The Prophet only fought 2 battles and only in defense. Islam is the most peaceful religion there is [in staying alive and doing what is right in service to the Light]. |
Muslim Dress

In Islam, both women AND men must dress modestly, whatever
that is open to interpretation. Muslim women dress like nuns
do as the virgin Mary did. Wearing the veil is completely optional, except
in countries like Saudi Arabia that adhere to the extremist and
ANTI ISLAMIC sect of Wahabbism. |

Jesus’ Role in Islam

In Islam, Jesus,
[peace be upon him] is
considered one of the greatest Prophets and messengers of God.
There is an
entire chapter in the Quran about Jesus
and his mother Mary.
"[Jesus]
said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the
Scripture and made me a Prophet." ~ Quran

Muslims Pray as Jesus Prayed

Jesus prayed several times a day at the same time and always
touched his head to the floor.
Mohammed took after this example as his wife took after Mary and
how she dressed. All Muslims pray this way and touch their
heads to the floor as per the example originally set by Jesus. "Going a little father, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" — Matthew 26:39 |
Jesus Foretells of Islam

Jesus mentioned the coming of the Prophet Mohammed by name in the Bible: "I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforter to be with you always; the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot accept, because it neither sees nor knows it." John 14:15-21 The word "comforter" is a translation of the name Ahmed which in Aramaic and Arabic is the root of Mohammed and means "one who gives comfort and heals" In older translations of the new Testament the original name was present but has long since been translated into the root meaning of the word. |
Mohammad’s Belief on Jesus
| The Prophet Mohammad considered Jesus his spiritual brother and in Medina where the Prophet is buried is the place that is being saved for when Jesus returns, lives out his life and dies naturally. The Prophet Mohammed will not be returning to Earth according to Islam. |
How Muslims Approach Jesus
|
Muslims call Jesus by his true name, the same name his disciples
used and they also name their children after him. That name is
Esa. This is his name in Arabic, which has not changed for 1400
years as well as in Aramaic which is the language Jesus spoke. This
is the language spoken in the movie "The Passion of Christ." Some
Christians call Jesus Yeshua, believing that this was his name
in Hebrew. Yeshua is an acronym in Hebrew for a curse meaning
"he whose name must never be spoken." This is what the Pharisaic
rabbis called Jesus out of hatred, not an actual name. Muslims do believe that Jesus was born of a virgin, but they do not call him or anyone else a "son" of God because it is stated by Jesus himself in the Gospel of Barnibas and in the Quran that idolatry is the greatest sin. [However, "son" can also mean the direct Light of God [Source of All], and does not mean that Jesus replaces the One Universal God. In John 10:30 we find,
“….My Father, who has given them to Me,
is greater than all
[emphasis added]. No one can snatch them out of My
Father’s hand. I and the Father are one." At this, the
Jews again picked up stones to stone Him ...... |
